The path-following robot was designed to follow a path outlined with dark surface. By using sensors that detect the luminosity of the surface beneath the robot, it was successfully able to detect and follow paths such as a figure eight outlined by black tape. The robot was built using an Arduino attatched to various sensors including three light detectors, a sonar to check if it was getting close to a wall, and an LCD to display what the sonar was detecting.
